Nando Pandolfo
After studying economics at Penn State University, I entered the world of data when I was hired by InfoBate, a consumer packaged good focused data service. At InfoBate, I started in the operations department. There I learned how data was inputted, cleaned, normalized, then joined into fact and attribution tables. In operations, I also learned how the business side of InfoBate worked. With this knowledge, I was able to solve an array of problems which increased efficiency in the department.
Once I had displayed my work ethic, learning ability, and attention to detail, I was introduced to the client-facing side of InfoBate. Starting with a national client's data project, I was tasked with creating and assuring the quality of our routine reporting.
I was then promoted to the role of client manager. Along with gaining more responsibility on my first client's project, I became the main point of contact for two other national clients. My responsibilities as client manager included; creating reporting solutions, understanding business needs, and communicating effectively with my clients to achieve their goals.
Alongside these new responsibilities, I became highly involved with furthering InfoBate's data delivery methods. In this role I assisted in creating automatic reporting solutions along with other user interface enhancements. To take reporting to the next level, InfoBate’s president tasked client managers with implementing Power BI as a medium for report delivery. Since then, I have spent hundreds of hours learning and using Power BI; eventually coming to produce a robust proof of concept. This experience along with a deeper study of Power BI enabled me to pass Microsoft’s PL-300 exam, which certified me as a Power BI Data Analyst Associate.
Now, I can use my skills to increase the value of your company's data through Power BI.
